About us
A steady presence when you need it most
I know how daunting it can be to face the court system alone. My work is built on one simple belief - everyone deserves to feel supported, informed and heard, regardless of whether they can afford a solicitor.
My values
As a McKenzie Friend, I am commited to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and ethics in everything I do.
Why I do this work
My journey into McKenzie Friend work began after witnessing first hand how overwhelming the courts can be for ordinary people. I saw intelligent, capable individuals reduced to silence by unfamiliar procedures, confusing paperwork and the sheer weight of the court process.
I became a McKenzie Friend because I wanted to change the experience, to be the calm, knowledgeable presence that helps people find their voice and present their case with confidence.
Every person I support is dealing with something that matters deeply to them - their family, their home, their livelihood. I take that seriously, I prepare thoroughly, I listen carefully and I stay by your side from the first conversation to the final hearing.

What guides my work
Honesty
I will always tell you what I can and cannot do. I am not a solicitor, and will never overstate my role. What I will offer is genuine, practical support - nothing more, nothing less.
Preparation
Good support starts long before the hearing. I invest time in understanding your case so that, when the day comes, you feel ready.
Calm under pressure
Courtrooms can be tense and unpredictable. My role is to be the steady presence beside you - focused, composed and entirely on your side.
